1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide and improve Roommee:
- Account data — your email address, name (if provided), and login method (email/password or Google).
- Uploaded content — the room photos you upload and the redesign projects you create.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how you use the app, such as page views, feature usage, and device/browser type.
- Payment metadata — your plan, credit balance, and transaction references. We never see or store your full card number.
2. How we use your data
- To generate AI redesigns and deliver the features you request;
- To store your saved projects so you can return to them later;
- To process payments, credits, and subscriptions;
- To improve the quality of our AI, recommendations, and product matching using anonymized data;
- To detect abuse, fraud, and security issues;
- To send essential service messages (password resets, billing receipts, important updates).
3. Storage of uploaded images and projects
Your uploaded photos and generated redesigns are stored securely with our cloud infrastructure provider and tied to your account. You can delete projects from inside the app at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account and stored content by emailing us.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Paddle). When you pay, your card and billing details are sent directly to those providers over an encrypted connection. Roommee receives only the metadata needed to confirm and manage your subscription — never your full payment card details.
5. Analytics and cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the product is used. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
6. Sharing your information
We only share data with:
- Service providers who help us run Roommee (hosting, AI inference, payments, analytics, email);
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect users and the platform;
- A successor company in the case of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.
All providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your account and associated data;
- Export your data in a portable format;
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded photos and projects are retained until you delete them or close your account. Some records (such as billing history) may be retained for as long as legally required.
9. Children
Roommee is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes and contact
