Welcome to Roommee. These Terms describe how you can use our AI-powered interior redesign platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Roommee

Roommee is an AI-powered interior redesign platform. You upload a photo of a room and receive AI-generated redesign concepts, color suggestions, and product recommendations.

Roommee results are inspirational and conceptual. They are intended to help you visualize possibilities and may differ from real-world outcomes, contractor results, or final purchased items.

2. Your account

To use most Roommee features you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Roommee.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of the room photos and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Roommee a limited license to process that content in order to generate redesigns and deliver the service to you.

Roommee may use anonymized and aggregated generated data to improve the quality of our AI models and recommendations. We do not sell your personal photos.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not upload, generate, or share content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit;
  • Copyrighted, trademarked, or owned by someone else without permission;
  • Personal photos of other people without their consent;
  • Designed to mislead, defraud, or impersonate anyone.

You also agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or resell any part of Roommee or its catalog;
  • Reverse engineer the service or attempt to extract our AI prompts or models;
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated misuse against the platform;
  • Interfere with other users or with the security of the service.

5. AI-generated results

AI generations may occasionally contain inaccuracies, visual artifacts, or unexpected results. Product matches are suggestions, not guarantees of availability, price, or fit.

Roommee is not liable for contractor work, renovation outcomes, purchase decisions, or any damages resulting from acting on AI-generated designs. Always confirm measurements, materials, and structural changes with a qualified professional.

6. Subscriptions, credits, and pricing

Roommee offers free and paid plans. Paid plans include Design Credits that are consumed when you generate redesigns or use advanced features. See our Pricing page for current details.

Subscription plans, credit costs, and included features may change over time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect your active plan.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

7. Credit Usage & Pricing Flexibility

As Roommee grows, the credit cost of individual generations may change. New features, improved rendering technologies, higher-quality outputs, and infrastructure upgrades can all affect how many Design Credits a generation uses.

The exact credit cost for every generation type is always shown clearly inside the app before you start. You'll see the price upfront, with no surprises.

By continuing to use Roommee, you acknowledge that credit costs may be updated from time to time and you accept the pricing structure in effect at the moment you generate a design.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or put other users or the platform at risk. You can stop using Roommee at any time and request account deletion by emailing us.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Roommee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roommee disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Roommee’s total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
