Refund Policy

We want you to love Roommee. This policy explains how trial usage, paid credits, and subscriptions work — and when we issue refunds.

1. Try Roommee for free

Every first-time user gets one free redesign so you can experience the quality of Roommee before paying. No card is required to try it.

2. Paid plans and Design Credits

Paid plans include a monthly or yearly bundle of Design Credits. Credits are consumed when you generate redesigns or use advanced features. See the Pricing page for what each plan includes.

3. Used credits are non-refundable

Each generation runs on real AI compute infrastructure, which we pay for the moment the request is made. Because of this, used Design Credits are generally non-refundable, including credits used to generate results you didn’t love.

We recommend starting with smaller renders or tweaks to dial in a direction before generating high-resolution outputs.

4. When we do issue refunds

We will review refund requests for:

  • Technical failures on our side that prevented a generation from completing and could not be re-tried;
  • Duplicate charges or accidental double purchases;
  • Extended service outages that materially prevented you from using your plan;
  • Refund requests required under your local consumer-protection law.

Please contact us within 14 days of the charge so we can investigate and resolve it quickly.

5. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing immediately and you keep access to your plan’s remaining credits until the end of the current billing period.

Cancelling does not retroactively refund credits that have already been used.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@roommee.app from the address on your Roommee account and include:

  • The date and amount of the charge;
  • A short description of what went wrong;
  • Any screenshots or error messages that may help.
